Thanks for Joining Us at the 2025 AGM

The Lake of Bays Association Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday July 5 with more than 100 members and guests attending. It was a busy meeting that included:

• Recognition of retiring directors Kathy Ogryzlo and Susanne Gossage.
• Welcoming new directors, Sarah Macintosh, Penny Thomas and Heather Yates.
• Updates from LOBA President, Paul Gleeson.
• A riveting presentation about Fire Safety by Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department Captain Fred Landry.

Your Lake, Your Views 2025 Survey

Your Participation is Important

LOBA is happy to be participating in the 2025 “Your Lakes, Your Views” survey with Safe Quiet Lakes. 

Please take a moment to share your views. The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. 

It is important to hear from everyone! Please pass this along to your friends, family members, and neighbours.

The responses will help us to understand the priorities of our members, what people value from their cottage experience, how they use the water and their boating activity concerns. Results from past surveys have guided planning at Safe Quiet Lakes and have been shared with Transport Canada, municipalities, the OPP and boating organizations. The survey will run until July 21 and can be easily accessed from any device.

We look forward to sharing the results with you in the fall. Your voice is important!
