Greetings!
THANKS TO ALL who attended our Green Leaders for Local Impact Retreat at the Potomac Overlook Regional Park. We examined the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) #7, #8, and #9, explored future trends that could help accelerate these goals, and discussed how to localize the SDGs in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.

We also discussed additional SDGs as well as how to go "beyond the SDGs" . We shared the collective wisdom among the participants from the many jurisdictions represented, including Baltimore, Montgomery County, DC, Arlington, Fairfax, regional non-governmental organizations, and more. We look forward to our participants connecting with each other to work on future initiatives!

We greatly appreciated MOM's Organic Market for supporting our event.

Thanks also to our VOLUNTEERS who helped out in a multitude of roles. It takes a small army of people to organize these events and assist our organization's mission. Learn more here on how to become a volunteer while also pursuing your goals and dreams and helping the planet via clean energy and sustainable solutions.

We sent out a Retreat survey. We would be delighted to hear from our attendees to enable us to refine and hone our Retreat program in the future.
