Completion of 40/50 Year Recertification

Hare Krishna dear congregational members . The ISKCON Miami Temple Management is very pleased to announce that very recently, our temple has been Recertified by the City of Miami to comply with the city’s strict requirements as Structurally and Electrically Safe. This Recertification is required once every ten years for all buildings in Miami that are over forty years old.



To bring our temple up to the required standards for Recertification cost us

tens of thousands of dollars and required a lot of practical, hands on help

from several members of our congregation. The most difficult challenge in

any establishment is the ongoing maintenance of the project, and we thank

you, our congregation for your help in this regard.

We also ask that you continue to help us maintain our required high

standards for the physical property so that we will be better prepared when

we face the next Recertification requirements in the future. Of course, this

also means that the temple will be structurally and electrically safer

for you to come and worship Lord Krishna.

The best way to prepare for the future Recertification requirements and to

simultaneously keep the temple in good condition for our day-to-day

worship of Lord Krishna is to is to maintain the physical temple now and not

allow it to fall into disrepair.

You can help us prepare for the ongoing maintenance requirements with your continued donations and, if you have practical skills regarding property construction and maintenance, you can help to ensure that we are better prepared for the next Recertification requirements and that we have a Safe temple to worship in daily.
