PRESIDENT'S PERSPECTIVE
Teamwork and collaboration is the theme for this month. Community Tennis Associations working with local government to build and improve courts and Kentucky's major tennis stakeholders participating in the Kentucky Tennis Summit. All to grow tennis in Kentucky.

RIBBON CUTTING IN PADUCAH
The city of Paducah and the Paducah Tennis Association celebrated resurfaced courts, improved drainage, bleachers, paved parking and restroom facilities. Thanks to Jane Gamble for leading this investment in the tennis community.
INDOOR TENNIS FACILITY COMING TO BOWLING GREEN
The Warren County Fiscal Court unanimously approved the construction of a multi-purpose tennis/sports complex at Michael O. Buchanon Park.
Ground was broken on the $8.2 million project that should take about a year to construct. Thanks to Bobby Lindsey and Martina Fee with Sothern Kentucky Tennis Association for leading the charge.

Drop Shots began in Somerset October 13, 2020 from 5:30-7pm at Somerset High School tennis courts. It's not to late to join the fun!
PAVO LOCO CUP
The Pavo Loco Holiday Tennis Tournament, November 27 - 29 is a charitable tennis event benefiting children's charities in Kentucky.

3rd. ANNUAL COLLEGE SHOWCASE
This USTA event will be held November 14th at Top Seed in Lexington. High school juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college coaches in Kentucky and the surrounding region. Players will also have the opportunity for a short meet and greet with coaches. There are a limited number of spots available. Register soon!

BUILD IT FORWARD GRANT
USTA Southern has opened registration for grant applications for the Build It Forward initiative. $500K has been made available to build or reconstruct tennis courts. There is no deadline, as funds will be available until exhausted.
