Stand for Life
We are called to stand for the dignity of every human life, especially in times of suffering and vulnerability. There is proposed legislation in Illinois that seeks to legalize assisted suicide, often referred to as Medical Aid in Dying. As Catholics, we know that referring to the taking of a life as "medicine" is a distortion of our faith and the true meaning of healing.
Prayerfully consider contacting your state lawmakers to respectfully express opposition to this legislation.
