St. Augustine's will have its traditional Thanksgiving Eucharist on Thanksgiving morning at 10:00 in the chapel. Fr. Terry Gatwood will lead the service, which will last about 30 minutes. Come in casual cooking attire and give yourself a few moments to worship the Lord and thank Him for the bounty we have been given.
Our turn at Faith Mission is Saturday, December 1st. Mark your calendars! St. Ann would like a few folks to sing Christmas carols while we serve. More details are coming.
Thanks to a generous offering from the Winklers, the parish is selling custom-designed St. Augustine's 2018 Christmas ornaments to support the building fund. The ornaments are $10.00 apiece, and will be available to purchase starting Sunday. Make checks payable to the church, and designate the building fund in the memo line. Thank you, Winklers for this gift to the future home of St. Augustine's!
American Heritage Girls Pack a Mission Punch!
The St. Augustine's American Heritage girls packed 52 boxes for Operation Christmas Child. They were fast! St. Ann and Dr. Bob stopped by- and they’d already finished! Thanks to everyone who provided gifts for children around the world!
Chili Cook-off A Rousing Success!
Well....that depends on who one might ask.

Defending champion, Lauren, retained her crown becoming only the second two-time winner in the history of the St. Augustine’s Chili Cook-off . Five participants vied for the jewel encrusted crown and the coveted trophy where one’s name is recorded for all time. All entrants delivered mouth-watering, stomach filling, and heat inducing lusciousness for the enjoyment of all, but it was Miss Quayle’s Pizza Chili that won the day.

Challenger Jeanie P, who threw down the gauntlet in the run-up to Friday’s competition, while gracious in defeat, was heard to say, “ Pizza Chili? Who knew? I’ll be more creative with my bribery efforts and just WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR.”

--Former Chili Queen, Miss Jeanie
