Needed: Flag Carriers for our Parade of Nations during our Thanksgiving Harvest Mass on November 14th.
As you may know, part of our Thanksgiving Harvest Mass tradition is the Parade of Nations, when parishioners process to the altar during the Presentation of Gifts bearing flags of their own nations.

The preference is to have a national carrying his/her own flag. However, if we do not have a person representing his/her country available to carry the flag on Sunday, we may have someone else in the congregation do this, even if that other person is not from that particular country.
Below, please see the list of flags representing 21 nations.

It is a common practice for our different national/ethnic groups to select among themselves their flag carriers for
the Parade of Nations.

We need the names of all flag carriers in order to tag all the flags that will be presented. Please submit names by this coming Wednesday, November 10.

The Family Harvest Offering is the time when a family, individual or a group comes before the Lord's altar to make an offering of their lives and their gifts to the Lord. This takes place during Mass on any of the Sundays leading up to the big celebration on November 14.

For this Sunday, we have 2 groups doing their offerings- The Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy & the Filipino Harvest Offering.
Not too late to jump in to do a family offering before our grand Thanksgiving Harvest on the 14th.

You are invited to a FILIPINO LUNCH & LINE DANCING FUNDRAISER on November 7, right after our Sunday Mass. Ticket is only $10 for this event.

This year 2021 marks 500 years of Catholicism in the Philippines and the Filipino community would like to celebrate their thanksgiving with everyone for this momentous event.

Tickets will be on sale. All proceeds will go to the parish Thanksgiving Harvest 2021.
Below is a sample of a "Filipino Line Dance" led by a group dance instructors. The fun is in following the dance moves and getting everyone dancing together!

Tickets are being sold at only $10 for the line dance event and a delicious spread of Filipino food.
