Hanukkah begins December 2 this year and Wilton Social Services has reached out to the Social Action Committee for donations of $100 gift cards for the Jewish families. This year they have 12 children, 5 are college age. The parents can do their own shopping when they receive the gift cards.   Social Services would like to have the cards by November 19 to give the families time to shop. Please consider donating either a gift card or money for us to buy the cards. Donations should be made to the Tzedakah Fund or at the office.

Common Threads

While our Upper Fairfield County Federation is a community of communities, we are also a vast library of stories and a vibrant garden with interconnected roots. This year, with the coordination and leadership of our Federation, many of those communities - congregations, organizations, and others - have joined together to create Common Threads, a year-long project to explore our diverse ancestry and heritage and how it weaves together into our strong and integrated Upper Fairfield County community. More Information and schedule.
