No one ever knows what will happen tomorrow. While we typically give thanks in November and specifically on Thanksgiving Day, I believe it’s important to give thanks daily for every blessing.
It’s equally important to reach out and lend a helping hand when possible.
How does this apply to organizing?
You are better able to help someone else when you are in control.
One of the very best reasons to organize anything is that the process puts you in control and reduces stress.
Stress, as I’m sure you’ve read or heard, is one of the leading causes of illness.
So, let’s get organized, a little bit at a time, so we can enjoy all the upcoming holidays beginning with Thanksgiving.
Think about what you want to do, how you want to be involved, and what you want to prepare in advance.
Make your travel plans:
- If you are driving, plan your route and when you will leave
- If you have not already, make your plane reservations ASAP
-
If you want a new holiday outfit, plan your shopping (not the day before you leave!)
