Our "Tooling Through the Twenties"
Virtual Gala is Now Complete!
Greetings!

That's a wrap! The last part of our 2021 "Tooling Through the Twenties" Virtual Gala ended at 2:00pm today when our week-long virtual silent auction closed! While we would have preferred to spend time in person with you this whole week, we know this virtual format was the way to go and it allowed so many more people to be involved in our event.

In case you missed any part of our event week programming, you can now view all of our video content on our YouTube Channel. More details on videos you may have missed as well as links are included in our Event Week Recap below.

Now on to the fundraising reveal! In 2021, our goal was to raise over $50,000 at this event in order for us to help fund our housing programs for our 2021 partner families. Unfortunately, we did not reach our goal.

Here is where we ended:
  • Through sponsorships, we raised approximately $13,000 which is down slightly from our last in-person event
  • Our silent auction brought in another $7,000 which is triple of what our in-person event last raised
  • Event week donations brought in $250 which is down by over $10,000 from our in-person event
  • In total, this year's event raised just over $20,000 which is down $16,000 from our last in-person event and down $30,000 from our goal

You might be wondering what this means for our mission. When we don't hit a fundraising goal, we have to find a way to make up that revenue elsewhere. We will work internally to do this with our Board and Resource Development Committee - after all, our mission must carry on!

One way you can help is by considering a donation. Maybe you donated at our last in-person Gala or you were bidding on a silent auction item this year but didn't win. Perhaps you even purchased tickets to attend our Gala in a past year. A donation in any amount does help. You can donate on our website by following this link.

Now please read on as we still do have much to celebrate about this week.

Thank you so much for your support!

Week-Long Virtual Silent Auction is a Success!
As mentioned above, our virtual week-long Silent Auction is now complete and what a success it was! We had over 55 packages to bid on which is 15+ more than we've ever had during an in-person event. We would like to thank all of the silent auction donors below for their contributions to our auction. We would also like to thank all of our bidders and winners!!! This year's silent auction fundraising total tripled - YES TRIPLED - what any of our previous in-person silent auctions fundraised. Thank you to donors and bidders alike for making this happen! If you didn't win a package but would still like to support our mission with a donation, you can follow this link now to make a donation.

A Special Thank You To Our Sponsors!
Event Sponsor:
We would like to send a huge thank you out to Dynamic, a local digital marketing firm, for their support of our Gala this year. If you watched any of our virtual programs, you know that Dynamic helped make our virtual event a reality by producing all of our recorded content. Thank you so much to everyone at Dynamic! Your support and wonderful work really helped bring our mission to life throughout our event week.
Associate Sponsors:
Our Associate Event Sponsors are annual supporters of our mission. We would like to thank Kohler Co., Mersberger Financial Group and Van Horn Automotive Group for their annual support and for supporting our Gala despite us not being able to gather in person this year. Thank you so much!
Friend of Habitat Sponsors:
Our Friend of Habitat Sponsors are what would normally be a table purchase for ten guests at our in-person event. Many of these sponsors were actually at our last in-person event and for them to still support us at this level despite our event being virtual this year is so appreciated! A huge thank you to all of you!
