Dear Friends of Porto:

What a truly wonderful day 150 golfers, sponsors, and volunteers enjoyed at Twin Lakes Golf Course in Clifton last Friday! The weather was perfect thanks to the intercession of Father Robert Wagner of Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Clifton. The course was in great shape thanks to Kevin Payne and the hard-working grounds crew at Twin Lakes. The lunch provided by Tony Stafford and his team from Ford’s Fish Shack was spectacular, as usual!

A dozen young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities welcomed and cheered on the golfers at various holes on the course, a truly wonderful sight. But the best part of the day was the generosity and support of you — our Heroes — who raised over $90,000 for scholarships and training for educators serving students with disabilities in the Diocese of Arlington.
