Disney’s $1 Billion Equity Stake in OpenAI


A lot is happening at Disney. The company has now gone ahead to take a $1billion equity stake in OpenAI and simultaneously, struck a deal to allow its famous characters to be used on Sora, the AI giant’s video generation platform. In other words, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel and others can now be used in videos you generate using the AI tool. So is this the way forward for AI circumvent copyright fears and use creative content for its tools legitimately? You decide. 

Another Crypto Scam: All About the $40 Billion Crash 


Cryptocurrency and controversy go hand in hand. After the scandals of whizkids like FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, this time it is another crypto mogul Do Kwon who has been found guilty of fraud. A South Korean national who was wanted in the United States as well, Do Kwon founded the blockchain platform behind the TerraUSD stablecoin and Luna but both coins lost their value in days in 2022 wiping about $40 from the market. This is how he was caught and sentenced.

Dubai Metro Blue Line Map Revealed 


With Dubai taking giant strides to make commuting easier and public transport more accessible, all eyes are now on the upcoming Blue Line that connects areas that were thus far, not on the metro line. It has now been revealed that the Blue Line will have five elevated stations, four underground stations, four ‘future elevated stations’ and one underground interchange station. Hollywood Legend Rob Reiner’s Shocking Murder 



Hollywood had a rude shock when the director of blockbusters like When Harry Met Sally and A Few Good Men, Rob Reiner was found dead along with his wife. As it now turns out, the police are suspecting his son Nick Reiner to be responsible for the murder. One of the greatest filmmakers who ironically never won an Oscar, Reiner’s death has been mourned by the entire film community. What a sad moment!
