§ 7-910 Equivalent Access for Students with Disabilities

MD Local Education Agencies (LEAs) are expected to test and ensure the accessibility of software and websites that will be used in the classroom. In order to support LEAs in complying with § 7-910 Equivalent Access for Students with Disabilities, the MD Department of Disabilities, the MD State Department of Education, and the National Federation of the Blind have collaborated to create a series of training modules. These modules introduce the law, the expectations, and the processes for evaluating educational technologies to meet the accessibility needs of diverse learners.

Stay tuned for our next webinar announcement where we will present a full session of live demonstrations of automated and manual accessibility testing.
