Girls Who Code Donation

CITE is happy to announce that proceeds from the 2022 CITE Conference raffle have been donated to Girls Who Code! The CITE community raised $7,056 in raffle ticket sales, and with CITE's matching contribution, we were able to donate $14,112 toward closing the gender gap in technology! Thank you to everyone who bough tickets for your support!

Conference Membership Updates

Educational Attendee Memberships have been updated! If you already had a cite.org account, your membership expiration date has been updated and if you didn't already have a CITE account, one was created for you. Be sure to join a New Member Welcome meeting if you're a new CITE member.

Privacy Services

Updates to Privacy Services

We have been working behind the scenes on a huge upgrade to our first ever CITE Service Program - Privacy Services, where we maintain, manage, and negotiate your Data Privacy Agreements!

Privacy Services Portal Launch

We are excited to announce that CITE has built a new database (portal) where customers can make their requests, view all statuses, and even complete the e-sign process all with a few simple clicks!

Customers will continue to have live support from your dedicated Program Support Technician; however, this portal will allow staff to better serve customers in a more effective and efficient manner.

To further improve service and support for customers we have brought on another Program Support Technician - Max Rothfield, and we now have an additional line of support with our new Program Support Supervisor - Heather Mogavero, who can be reached at heather.mogavero@cite.org

Staff Spotlight

She received her Master of Arts in Communication Management with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Denver in 2021. Prior to CITE, she worked in various customer service roles for Disney: including roles with Disneyland, Disney Vacation Club, and Disney Cruise Line. Her passion for making magic and storytelling has continued even outside of her time with Disney. When she isn't working you can usually find her at Disneyland or at a Jonas Brothers concert. She also enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, and going to the movies.

Halen is the Member Engagement and Marketing Assistant at CITE.

Andrea Flamenco

Andrea Tracy Flamenco most recently served as Manager, Trainings, at the California School Boards Association (CSBA). Prior to this, Andrea worked in

TK-12 as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and program coordinator. Andrea has presented at local and state conferences and delivered professional development to education professionals on a myriad of topics. Her education includes a BA and multiple subject teaching credential from the University of California, Riverside, and a MA and administrative credential from San Jose State University. Andrea and her husband have four young adult children and enjoy hiking, traveling, and learning. She is enthusiastic about joining the team at CITE in her new role as Education Programs Manager.

California in 2014, where he met his wife and settled down. After working for numerous years behind the camera in the entertainment industry, Max joined the CITE team in January of 2023. Max jumped at the opportunity to join the Privacy Services Team and is excited to support Local Education Agencies with their needs. Outside of work, Max enjoys writing, sports, and enjoying entertainment media, rather than working on it.
