NOW OPEN! Privacy Services is CITE's full-service Student Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) Program. LEAs use hundreds of apps in the classroom, and ensuring that each app is compliant to student data privacy laws in California is difficult and time consuming.

2022 - 2023 Election

The 2022-2023 CITE election will open on Monday, September 26th. This year we have three open seats. Educational and Retired members will receive a unique link directly vie email. Members will have until November 4th to vote. If you are a CITE member and do not receive your link to vote on Monday, please email election@cite.org

Staff Spotlight

Melissa Braden

Melissa is a Program Support Technician for the Privacy Services Program at CITE. She joined CITE in July 2022. Melissa helps districts manage their student data privacy agreements. Prior to CITE, Melissa was the Director of Recruiting for a non-profit Foster Care Agency. Before that, she was employed by a California School District working in the office at an Elementary/Middle School. Outside of work, Melissa leads a very busy life. Between her and her husband, they have five boys together! They are always on the go with baseball, baseball, and more baseball. She loves to travel, try new foods, and just spend time with her husband, their boys, and two Yorkie dogs.

Kymber Leigh

Kymber is the Events Specialist at CITE. She is dedicated to creating fun and engaging events for all who attend! When not at work she loves to travel and explore fun new places. She has been putting on events for 10 years. Previously she worked with college students, creating memorable and engaging events to help them become leaders in their spheres. Be sure to say hi to her at the conference in November!
