The 10 lb. Weight Loss Challenge

Lose 10 lbs. or more and share the cash prize!

Welcome to the 10 lb. weight loss challenge.

   



The contest will run from the third week in January until

the end of the third week in March.

March 15th is the absolute last day of weigh-outs.


(Roughly 8 weeks)

    


There will be the overall prizes to all that lose 10lbs...

Plus 2 Bonus prizes:


1st Overall Prize: Everyone who loses 10 lbs. or more split the money pot (so everyone can be a winner)!

2nd Prize: Dinner for 2 at the River Club to the 1 person who loses the highest percentage of body weight.

3rd Prize: 1 Month Unlimited of Fitness Classes to the person who loses the next highest percentage of body weight.



The Details:



Each participant contributes a $20 entry fee to start (automatically billed to your member account).


At the end, everyone who has lost at least 10 lbs. split the money pot

     

For example: If we have 50 participants that’s’ a $1,000 pot.

   

If we only have 10 winners, each would win $100 each. Etc.


One season, we had a total of 136 participants!

  


We welcome as many participants as possible so here’s what to do.

    

Everyone must be weighed in (privately with me) starting on Monday,

January 15th until and no later than noon on Friday January 19th.


A schedule of 'weigh-in' times is listed at the bottom of this email.


   

As of then, the contest is officially under way. You'll have about 8 weeks to get in some great workouts, classes, and regain control of your eating habits.

Then...

   

Everyone must have their final weigh-in with me between Monday, March 11th and no later than noon on Friday, March 15th. 


I will post days/times for final weigh-ins prior to that.

      

For privacy purposes, no one’s personal weight will be publicly revealed…only their total pounds lost if they choose.     



     

It’s the perfect time of year to get rid of those unwanted pounds the year and Holidays put on. Plus you can earn a few bucks doing it.

initial weigh-in here

at my office in the Fitness Center. 

      

They will be done between 

January 15th and January 19th




Initial Weigh-in Dates and Times:


Monday Jan 15th: 9:00-11:00 & 1:00 - 3:00

Tuesday Jan 16th: 1:00 - 3:00

Wednesday Jan 17th: 9:00-11:00 & 1:00-3:00

Thursday Jan 18th: 8:00-11:00 & 1:00-3:00

Friday Jan 19th: 12:00-2:00 LAST DAY TO WEIGH IN


NOTE: If I'm in my office and you want to weigh in and it's not at the above times, that is fine. Just pop in if I'm in my office.
