Learning About Our Faith
In first grade we talked about All Souls’s Day and the different traditions that take place on this day. Students decorated “sugar skull” masks in bright, festive colors.



We learn lots of different ways to add and subtract in first grade. Students enjoy hands on practice like using this number line with dry erase markers .

Math & Science
Once a month during science, our first graders have a garden class with Sr. Zina. Here the students are preparing the soil for planting seeds by digging out pesky bugs.

We Love Art!!






First grade is using watercolors to paint a snowman they drew during a directed drawing session.
