O Come O Come Emmanuel
During advent season we learn about all the names we call Jesus. We made an advent wreath with different names and symbols of Jesus and found them in the Bible.

Learning Is Fun!
2nd graders are learning the first steps on how to multiply. They are using colored dobbers to create multiplication sentences and repeated addition. The dots represent their multiplication sentences in an array.
Students in 2nd grade are reading a fantasy called Pearl and Wagner. They are practicing how to summarize the story, ask questions, and find text evidence while learning about robots.
2nd graders are learning the 5 parts of a friendly letter. They have creatively disguised Santa Claus. They have brainstormed on a Santa hat graphic their ideas to write a friendly letter to Santa. Letters will be mailed to the Jolly One .... hoping for a response in the next week!
