Contribution and Virtual Offering Plate
At this time we are asking that parishioners who have pledged try to mail their checks directly to the Transfiguration office, or set up auto payment from your bank. It is very helpful if we can continue income at this time as we seek to create connections to each other and maintain parish life. If you are not a pledger at Transfig, please do use our ‘virtual offering plate’ on the front page of our website to make a contribution to our work as you are able.

Happy Birthday
Gari Patton and Henry Bakken on Thursday, Ted Everett and Natalie Barger on Saturday.
Happy Anniversary
Fran & John Tornquist and Nancy & Bill Cerreta on Monday.

Service Project for the Peninsula Humane Society
Make toys for cats and kittens in need
The Peninsula Humane Society needs our help to make toys for kittens and cats waiting to be adopted. Newly adopted pets take their toys home with them, so PHS is in need of fresh supplies of entertaining toys. Some ideas for easy DIY cat toys with directions to make them are spider toy, cork toy and catnip socks. They can all be made with materials that you probably already have at home, but if you would like materials please contact Michele Maia. Feel free to find other ideas for DIY cat toys, just make sure the toys are sturdy and safe—no small pieces that can be torn off and swallowed, please.

You can drop off your cat toys in the box outside the church doors on the Memorial garden side of the building beginning next week. The cat toys will be blessed and donated to PHS as part of our Blessing of the Animals on October 4. Thank you so much for helping our furry friends.

Joyful Noise Storytelling
A delightful ministry looking for new members
Do you have a favorite Bible story? Do you love telling or listening to stories? If you answered yes, please consider becoming a Joyful Noise storyteller! Every Sunday at our Joyful Noise service at 9:15 am we gather on zoom to tell Bible stories and sing songs. The stories are simple, just 3-5 minutes, and the audience is cuter than a box of kittens! No special skills are needed, just the desire to share a story with some of our youngest children. You can choose your own story or I can provide you with a story and script. Please contact Michele Maia, michele@transfig-sm.org to join this joyful ministry.
