Governor issues Executive Order creating a workers' comp presumption for COVID-19 claims
The Governor just signed an executive order creating Worker Comp Presumption for COVID-19 claims.

The Executive Order creates a rebuttable presumption on all employers for any employee that contracts COVID-19 regardless of their employer or industry. The presumption would apply to any worker who reported to work outside of the home at the direction of their employer and received a positive test or a diagnosis from a California licensed physician with a diagnosis for COVID-19 within 14 days of the worker's last day working outside the home.

In Loving Memory of PHCC-ORSB Board Member Nicole Mclnerny
It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of Nicole McInerny.

On the evening of May 7, 2020, Nicole peacefully left this world with her husband & three children by her side. Nicole was a part of the PHCC community since the early '90s and has served numerous terms as an Affiliate Director.

She was a huge supporter of the PHCC-ORSB Education Foundation. This school year a partial Scholarship was awarded to a well-deserving 4th-year student which was selected by Nicole. The Nicole McInerny Scholarship was made possible by her employer Dry Down Inc.

Nicole was a beautiful person inside and out and will truly be missed. Forever remembered for her kind and generous spirit. Rest in Peace our beautiful friend!
