WELCOME

#BACK2BCPS!

The 2022-23 School Year is Here!

This week, more than 111,000 students returned to our 176 schools, centers, and programs. Our successful return to learning was made possible by our incredible staff, comprised of more than 21,000 employees.

"It was wonderful having the opportunity to visit so many schools across the county throughout the first week of school. I'd like to thank every member of Team BCPS for their dedication, enthusiasm, and positive energy as we begin this new year," said Superintendent Dr. Darryl L. Williams.

Photos from the first week of school are available on the BCPS Flickr page. Our "Welcome Back" video and full-length First Day of School video are available for viewing on Vimeo.
