Below are the required steps to complete the hiring and onboarding process. Steps 1 and 2 should be completed by May 16, 2022. If you have any questions or need assistance, please let us know by calling (404) 687-3400. If you do not call or submit any documents by Thursday, May 20, 2022, we will conclude that you are no longer interested or unable to participate this year.
Step 1. Registration/Application (5 mins) - Click here to start/complete the online application where you provide basic personal information, such as name, address, date of birth, etc.
After your registration has been submitted, you will receive an automated confirmation email. Next, you should expect a “Welcome to Onboarding” email. Within 72 hours of receiving the “Welcome to Onboarding” notice, you will receive another email with a link to CV360 (DeKalb’s Hiring System), login instructions, and your new Employee/Person ID# to begin your onboarding tasks.
You will be required to create your own password. Check your spam if you do not receive the instructions in 2-3 business days. Look for a sender with dekalbcountyga.gov account.
Step 2. Onboarding Process (15 – 20 mins) – Online signing and uploading of hiring documents include five (5) tasks. These tasks must be completed within 3 days of receipt of your CV360 account. Important Note: If you are under age 18, your parent or guardian will receive an email as they too must sign authorizing consent and/or acknowledgement for sections b, c, and d below.

e. I-9 - Employee Eligibility Verification (page 1 only): On the form, an employee must certify authorization to work in the U.S. by completing Section 1. The employee must also present his or her employer with acceptable documents as proof of identity and employment authorization. Here you can attach documents, such as:
i. Passport
ii. Residency Card
iii. Valid Picture ID (school or government issued)
iv. Social Security Card
v. Birth Certificate
vi. Current report card (under 18)
Congratulations! You have completed your initial hiring steps. Just one more step to go! You will receive an email May 31, 2022 that will guide you in completing the required payroll authorization process. Remember to check your spam.
Step 3. Payroll/Tax Information – These tasks are required to be completed by June 3, 2022. This will allow us to pay you in a timely manner.
a. G4 - State tax form
b. W4 – Federal tax form
c. Banking – Add banking information for direct deposit (mandatory). Pay cards will be available if you do not have a personal banking account.
If you do not have a computer or computer access or just need help, resources and WorkSource DeKalb staff will be available:
· Tuesday, May 10th – Thursday, May 12th (10 AM – noon and 2 PM – 6 PM)
· Tuesday, May 17th – Thursday, May 19th (10 AM – noon and 2 PM – 6 PM)
· Saturday, May 14th and May 21st (10 AM – 1 PM)
We are located at 774 Jordan Lane, Building 4, Decatur, GA 30033. Reservations are recommended. However, no appointment is required. Remember to bring important documents as noted in steps 2e and 3c if you come to the office for support and assistance.
