The 2024-25 FAFSA is now available!

The 2024–25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is now available. The soft launch period has ended. You can complete the form to apply for financial aid to help pay for attendance at college between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. The U.S. Department of Education may initiate pauses for site maintenance and to make technical updates as needed to provide you with a better experience. Learn more about the 2024-25 FAFSA form launch.

Institutions will not start receiving the Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) until March. Until the information is available to the schools, we will not be able to answer many questions for 2024-2025 aid eligibility.

Priority Deadline: Generally, you must submit your FAFSA® by February 1 each year in order to meet the priority deadline. Due to the delayed roll-out of the 2024-2025 FAFSA, the priority deadline has been moved to April 1, 2024. Eligible students who apply on or before the priority deadline are guaranteed an award. Don't miss out Finally FAFSA in February

Hey, Blue Tigers! If you complete your FAFSA by February 29, 2024, you will be entered into a drawing to win $1,000 in electronics and prizes.

Our Student Financial Services staff will be hosting events available all month to assist with FAFSA questions and applications. These special events will give students a great opportunity to complete their FAFSA and apply for scholarships. Staff from SFS will be on hand to assist in the process.

Check the SFS event schedules for your residence hall or student group's event, or plan to stop by during SFS Finally FAFSA hours for all LU students.

All events will take place in the computer lab at SFS – 103 Young Hall.

Students will be eligible to enter the drawing for prizes by attending a Finally FAFSA event and fully completing the FAFSA by February 29, 2024. The drawing will be held on March 8, 2024, with winners announced at that time.
