Contribution and Virtual Offering Plate
We are thankful to parishioners who pledge and are mailing their checks directly to the Transfiguration office, or have set up auto payment from your bank. It is very helpful that we continue income at this time as we seek to create connections to each other and maintain parish life. If you are not a pledger at Transfig, please do use our ‘virtual offering plate’ on the front page of our website to make a contribution to our work as you are able.
Happy Birthday
Lex Castiglia on Tuesday, Cathy Apsley on Thursday, Tripp Garrish on Friday.

This Sunday we will bless the pledge cards that have been submitted. Thank you to all who have pledged for 2022. If you have not yet turned your pledge card, please do so! The Vestry will be reviewing the status of pledges and following up with parishioners as needed, so that the budgeting process for 2022 can proceed.

Joyful Noise Helpers Needed
Readers and Storytellers for fall and Advent—please sign up
Add your voice to our Joyful Noise this season! We need storytellers and readers for our 9am Joyful Noise service on zoom. The readings are from a simplified lectionary for children and the stories are from our Godly Play collection. Reading and storytelling are easy and fun ways to be involved in our Joyful Noise celebration each Sunday. Novice and experienced, youth or adult, all storytellers are welcome and you will be provided with a script and suggestions on how to tell the story. In this new season we have lots of favorite stories to enjoy. Please click the link to sign up and add your voice to our Joyful Noise!

Be a part of Christmas Pageant 2021
Everyone is invited to participate!
|
Christmas is right around the corner and it’s time to pick your favorite pageant part. Our Christmas pageant will be
pre-recorded again this year to ensure everyone’s safety and to allow everyone to participate!
This year our pageant players will record their parts in the comfort of their own homes. We will provide scripts, costumes and guidance for recording on zoom at home. It’s easy, fun and everyone can participate—babies, children, teens, adults, seniors and even your favorite pets!
Casting is the first step in making our marvelous pageant. The list of available roles follows; please take a look and email me with your favorite 2 or 3 parts. One of the wonderful bonuses of a recorded pageant is that you can play more than one part! Please email me, Michele@transfig-sm.org, with pageant part preferences and with any questions as soon as possible. We hope to have everything recorded by the end of November.
Christmas Pageant Roles:
Narrator
Prophets
Mary
Joseph
Gabriel
Caesar
Innkeepers
Shepherds
Sheep and other animals
