Rehearsals are in high gear for our upcoming production of The 39 Steps. This action-packed comedy is an adaptation of an old Alfred Hitchcock spy thriller. It tells the story of a bored Canadian in London who becomes embroiled in an international spy ring pre-WW 2. This challenging production sees the four actors playing countless characters with a myriad of props.

We are in need of one more STAGE-HAND to help support the fast action of costume and set changes. If you have stage or back-stage experience and can commit to rehearsals and all performances, Nedine Scott or Laura Demulder would love to hear from you. Contact one of them for more information.

Audition dates have been set for our third production, Concord Floral by Jordan Tannahill, directed by Ann Skelhorne.

It is a supernatural suburban thriller in which ten teenagers flee a plague of their own making. Concord Floral is a one-million-square-foot abandoned greenhouse and a refuge for neighbourhood kids; a place all to themselves in which to dream, dare, and come of age. But hidden there is a secret no one wants to confront, and when two friends stumble upon it they set off an unstoppable chain of events, from shadows in parking lots to phone calls from the grave. It’s time for the teens of Concord Floral to start talking.

The play runs April 28 - May 13 and will also be performed at the Okanagan Zone Drama Festival in Kelowna at the end of May.

Cast 10 youth, ages 16-22(ish)

7 female/ 3 male

Dates Saturday Feb 11: 2 - 5 pm

Monday Feb 13: 7 - 10 pm
