Eblen Charities awarded Emergency Assistance Contract
in partnership with
Buncombe County Health and Human Services
We are pleased to announce our 12th year of partnership with Buncombe County Health and Human Services (for federal contracts) including the Emergency Assistance Program, which begins distribution of funds July 1st.
The Emergency Assistance Program helps families in need of assistance with housing, heating, cooling and water, as well as deposits for those transitioning out of homelessness.
Last year, 1, 388 applications were taken for assistance, ensuring Buncombe County families with minor children were not deprived of basic necessities or housing.
Along with the Emergency Assistance contract, Eblen is pleased to be administering CIP and LIEAP funds, which are primarily used in the fall and winter months to help those that need assistance in offsetting high winter heating costs.
If you have any questions regarding the guidelines of the federal assistance program, please contact the office at 828-255-3066.
