Having been the first to plant vines in the Marlborough region, all the way back in 1973, Allan Scott is one of the pioneers of the New Zealand wine industry.
He and his wife founded their current estate in 1990, and still operate it together, along with their children. Unlike some of the big name Kiwi Sauvignon Blancs, their wines are produced entirely from grapes that they grow themselves, allowing them to control the entire winemaking process
With their 2019 release, they have NAILED it. Earning one of the highest Wine Spectator scores ever, and selling today for a category-busting $11.79,
fans of Kim Crawford and all sorts of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc will be snatching this up by the multiple caseload!
"Stylish, generous and intense, featuring lemon curd, apricot and lime sherbet flavors that are vivid and mouthwatering, accented by details of matcha green tea, white pepper and passion fruit. Delivers terrific follow-through on the finish. Drink now."
