ABC Recovery Center has done it again! Once again named to Newsweek Magazine's annual rating of the top recovery centers in America!
"Nearly 60 percent of Americans over the age of 12 used drugs that were not prescribed for medical use in 2022, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA's) most recent national survey. Of the 168.7 million people who consumed alcohol, tobacco, nicotine or illicit drugs throughout the year, 48.7 million had a substance use disorder.
There is hope for Americans struggling with substance abuse disorders: 71 percent of adults who perceived that they have ever battled one identified as recovered or in recovery in 2022. Getting the right help is crucial. But there are more than 17,000 substance abuse facilities in the United States, according to data intelligence platform Statista."
Of the 17,000+ recovery centers considered, Newsweek's ranking awards 400 inpatient, long-term and residential addiction treatment centers in the 25 states where these facilities are most numerous.
Congratulations ABC Recovery Center!

A Message from the
Chief Executive Officer
Dear Friends and Supporters of ABC Recovery Center,
As we embrace the season of gratitude and reflection, I am filled with immense appreciation for the remarkable community that surrounds ABC Recovery Center. This past month, we had the honor of hosting our 2nd Oasis of Hope Gala, an evening that was truly unforgettable thanks to your support and presence.
First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our honorees of the night, The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, for their longstanding commitment to our mission. Special recognition goes to Tribal Council Members Candace Patencio Anderson and Savana Saubel, who graciously accepted the award on behalf of the Tribe. Your leadership and dedication inspire us and reinforce the importance of unity and shared purpose in building a stronger community.
I would also like to express deep gratitude to Supervisor V. Manuel Perez and his office for their steadfast support and commitment to our vision. Thanks to their efforts, we have secured $300,000 to aid in our ongoing BHCIP Expansion Project. This funding is vital as development in our field is both complex and costly. Supervisor Perez has been a true champion of ABC Recovery Center, and we were profoundly moved by the level of support shown. Your belief in our mission empowers us to continue expanding our services to those in need.
A special thank you goes out to our dedicated board member, Glenn Miller, whose hard work and dedication were instrumental in making our gala a success. Glenn’s commitment, along with the support of our entire volunteer board who attended that night, exemplifies the spirit of service and teamwork that drives our organization forward.
I would also like to recognize and extend heartfelt appreciation to our incredible staff and the Gala Committee, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this event to life. Their efforts, from planning and coordination to executing every detail, ensured that the evening ran smoothly and was memorable for all. The heavy lifting done by this remarkable team exemplifies true dedication, and we are fortunate to have such passionate individuals as part of the ABC family.
As we look ahead to Thanksgiving, I am reminded of just how much we have to be grateful for. It is the dedication of our partners, supporters, board members, staff, and every individual in our community that makes our work possible. Thank you for walking this journey with us, for your kindness, and for being an integral part of the ABC family.
With gratitude and warm wishes,

It was thanks to Taylor and Jerry's story, that ABC generated the largest amount of funding for the Paddle Raise, EVER!

An evening highlight also included Supervisor V. Manuel Perez who presented a check for $300,000 for ABC's needs in funding our expansion project. We don't have the final funding that was raised from the event, but it was easily the largest fundraising total from any previous event. Yay ABC! | |

Rock Stars are member of our staff who are going above and beyond the expectations of their positions. They are making our mission happen and are integral to the important changes we are helping our clients make in their lives.
