Scripture: Exodus 29:38-43 ; Luke 21:1-4

This is week number three in our Sermon Series called The Joy of Giving. We have been focusing on the ABCs of Stewardship. We’ve spent some time with the A=Attitude and B=Believe. This Sunday, we will examine the C of Stewardship: CONSECRATION. 

When Noah offered up his sacrifice after the flood, it says that “the Lord smelled a sweet savor; and the Lord said, I will not again curse the ground any more for humanities sake."    That which is consecrated unto God; that which is sacrificed to God should have a pleasing aroma. It should smell good!

So what makes an offering to God “smell good?” – How can we make our offerings appeal to God? Come learn with us this Sunday!

OASIS continues on Wednesday, February 20 at 6:15pm in the Freeman Fellowship House. This is the last week of a 7-week study on forgiveness titled "How Can I Forgive?". Join us for a light meal and Bible study.

Ash Wednesday Observance will be Wednesday, March 6 at 6:30pm.

Cornerstone MCC will have a workday with Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, April 6 . Time to be determined.

Sacred Harp Singing meets  Friday, February 22 from 6:00-8:00pm in the Sanctuary.
