An Update on Upcoming ALERT Events
Following guidelines from the CDC, City of Boston and the Department of Public Health regarding COVID-19, the ALERT team has decided to postpone our Technology Showcase, ADSA22 and ADEPT03 events which were scheduled to take place in May and July 2020.

Please save the dates for the ALERT Technology Showcase on November 17, 2020 and ADSA22 on November 18-19 at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. ADEPT03 has been postponed to Fall 2020, targeting the end of September and October time frame. Event details are still being finalized and will be announced once available.
Industry Partners Respond to COVID-19 Supply Needs
In response to the ever growing critical supply needs, many companies have stepped up to support the fight against COVID-19.

On April 9 th , Northeastern University held the 10 th annual Research, Innovation and Scholarship Expo (RISE) 2020 via virtual conference.

NRC Research Associateship Programs
The National Academies administers NRC postdoctoral and senior research awards for 20 federal research agencies with locations throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Interested researchers can apply for opportunities at sponsoring federal labs and affiliated institutions with stipends ranging from $45,000-$83,000.
Civic Innovation Challenge
Submissions Due July 1, 2020
The Civic Innovation Challenge is a research and action competition that aims to fund ready-to-implement, research-based pilot projects that have the potential for scalable, sustainable, and transferable impact on community-identified priorities.

Transportation Security Laboratory Synthetic Data Post-Doc Opportunity!
The Transportation Security Laboratory is seeking applicants to participate in a new endeavor in synthetic data generation and testing. Applicants must have received or expect to complete all requirements for a Doctoral degree by their anticipated start date .  
Pathways to Science
Funding opportunities for STEM Students
The Institute for Broadening Participation (IBP) Pathways to Science project supports pathways to the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) by connecting students to programs such as REUs, graduate fellowships, and postdoctoral positions.
