ALERT Student Emily Belk featured in podcast "Thinking Through Autonomy"
Upon winning first place with her team at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Centers of Excellence (COE) Summit Grand Challenge Student Competition, ALERT student Emily Belk was invited to participate in Ken Dunlap's podcast, "Thinking Through Autonomy" along with other students to discuss their research and experience at the competition.

Reducing the Cognitive Load of Operators of Aviation Security Equipment
The twenty second workshop for Advanced Development for Security Applications (ADSA22) will be held on May 6th and 7th, 2020, at Northeastern University in Boston. The workshop will address the topic of reducing the cognitive load of operators of aviation security equipment.

Fundamentals of Explosives at University of Rhode Island

ANSI Student Paper Competition 2020
Papers Due April 30, 2020
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is holding a student paper competition in 2020, on the topic of STANDARDS SUPPORTING UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS. Papers are to be submitted to ANSI by April 30, 2020.
