APF Pakistan Fellowships for Summer 2022
We are proud to offer APF Pakistan Fellowships for summer 2022 with Sehat Kahani, a telemedicine startup company in Pakistan, and The Atlantic Council South Asia Center, a think tank based in Washington, D.C.

Through direct engagement with Pakistan-focused organizations, the APF Pakistan Fellows Program exposes participants to the nuts and bolts of globally-focused careers.

The ideal candidates for these fellowships will be individuals who are globally-minded, curious about socioeconomic and policy issues related to Pakistan, and interested in building bridges across cultures.

APF is honored to welcome Amina Akram and Hassan Saeed to the APF Board of Directors. Their deep roots and experience in the private sector, the startup ecosystem, and digital media will advance the APF mission while connecting the Foundation to new communities that share our values.
Amina Akram
Ouraan
Amina Akram is the Co-founder and CEO of Ouraan, an ed-tech company that brings friends and families closer together using technology and literary content. She is a former litigator who worked at Milbank; the preeminent Brazilian law firm, Pinheiro Neto Advogados; and Bernstein Liebhard LLP.

Hassan Saeed
Santander US
Hassan Saeed is a Senior Advisor for Santander US in its consumer and business banking division. Since 2014, he has served as APF's Digital Media Manager and grew the APF digital footprint from a few hundred followers to its current level of nearly 90,000 connections.

Musician Jahan Yousaf on Giving Back to Pakistan

APF Leadership Council member Zehra Ansari recently sat down with Jahan Yousaf of electronic dance music group Krewella to discuss her musical journey, her relationship to her Pakistani heritage, and how she gives back to Pakistan. In February 2021, Jahan established the non-profit organization Nagar women’s Health House in the remote northern Pakistani village of Nagar to provide free access to healthcare services.
