Join us for an APF webinar on Wednesday August 3 at 10:00 a.m. EST to discuss the work and vision of the Citizens Archive of Pakistan, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of culture and heritage.
Established in 2007, CAP holds one of the largest digital archives of oral histories and images in South Asia and operates the National History Museum, a state-of-the-art space incorporating virtual reality to educate about Pakistan's history. CAP operates multiple projects from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad and has deployed a wide range of exhibits in Pakistan and North America.
Joining us for the discussion are Aaliyah Tayyebi, a Senior Project Manager at CAP, and Mariam Alsikafi, the Chair of the Citizens Archive in North America. The discussion will be moderated by Noah Usman, who is an APF Research Fellow and Leadership Council Ambassador for the West Coast.
