Join us for an APF webinar on Wednesday August 3 at 10:00 a.m. EST to discuss the work and vision of the Citizens Archive of Pakistan, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of culture and heritage. 

Joining us for the discussion are Aaliyah Tayyebi, a Senior Project Manager at CAP, and Mariam Alsikafi, the Chair of the Citizens Archive in North America. The discussion will be moderated by Noah Usman, who is an APF Research Fellow and Leadership Council Ambassador for the West Coast.

During a family trip to Hawaii, APF President Shamila N. Chaudhary located a Little Free Library on the grounds of Honolulu's Bishop Museum and donated some of her favorite children's and young adult books about the Pakistani American experience.

Little Free Libraries are book-sharing boxes that build community, inspire readers, and expand book access. They also highlight diverse voices to promote understanding, empathy, and inclusion.

Through the APF Library Engagement Toolkit, APF members across the United States are donating books about the Pakistani American experience to Little Free Libraries in their neighborhoods.
