“This record is unabashedly queer, confident, playful, and insanely pleasurable.

Above all else, it’s got pure magic.”

“And what The Aces ended up with is a (respectfully) hot, sexy and sapphic

album celebrating queer identity.”

Like a great night you never want to end, The Aces today release their deluxe album, Gold Star Baby: After Hours, and keep the dance party going. The expanded record includes three new tracks: the previously released diss track “Square One,” joined by the hopeful “Can’t Wait” and a club remix of “The Magic” by the band’s own Katie Henderson. The new set of songs makes an argument against anyone who says nothing good happens after midnight — Stream

On the deluxe album as a whole, the band shared, “We felt like we wanted to keep the ‘Gold Star Baby’ party going. We had so much fun touring this record and the culture we built with the fans and wanted one last hurrah. So, we decided to share some of our unreleased favs from the era. Little bit of heartbreak, a lot of disco. That’s GSB.”

Originally released in August of 2025 via SoundOn, Gold Star Baby is a concept album that doesn't take itself too seriously. A metaphorical night club in every city where if you know…you know, everyone and anyone is invited to indulge in a celebration of queerness and escapist, sapphic, disco-pop fun. The album and The Aces live performances were championed by the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard, People Magazine, Cosmopolitan, SPIN, Ladygunn and countless others.

ABOUT THE ACES:

So far evolved from who they were when they first began releasing music in 2017, The Aces deserve the sense of celebration they feel in their new music. With 3 albums, over 250 million streams, and countless other milestones under their belts, sisters Cristal and Alisa Ramirez (lead vocals/guitar and drums), Katie Henderson (lead guitar/vocals), and McKenna Petty (bass) are in full form on their 4th LP Gold Star Baby, out now via SoundOn.

Billboard called the record “12 immaculately curated disco-pop jams” and SPIN said “Gold Star Baby marks a turning point for a group often told they’re too rock to be pop and too pop to be rock.” Continuing to reach new heights, the band has become who they always set out to be and are having the most fun while doing it.

The Aces have toured with the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer, X Ambassadors, The Vamps, and COIN, and have played at festivals all over the world, including NY Pride, Lollapalooza, All Things Go, Firefly, Bonnaroo, OUTFEST, Sziget, Pukkelpop and more. During their 2023 headline tour they sold out the international run across the UK, Australia & Japan. In 2024, they opened for Chappell Roan at Kentucky Pride and supported Goth Babe on a US run. Up next, they will hit the road with Louis Tomlinson for his North American arena tour.
