The Act of Calvary!

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God” (I Corinthians 1:18).

The act of Calvary represents history’s most powerful demonstration of love by Jesus Christ. This act of love released an unparalleled power against evil and a superior love for humanity never seen before or since. All hope, miracles, strength, and sustaining love flow from the finished work of Calvary. Every act Jesus performed through Calvary was for redemptive, reconciliatory, and relationship purposes (Hebrews 4:15).

1.     His trial and court case with the Sanhedrin (Isaiah 53:3-4):

  • Was for power to be released to help us when we experience slander.
  • Was for power to be released to help us when we experience character assassinations.

2.     His scourging and beatings (Isaiah 53:5):

  • Was for power to be released for the physical sufferings we would experience.
  • Was for power to be released to give us physical healing.

3.     The crown of thorns (Matthew 27:29):

  • Was for power to be released for our mental and emotional healing.
  • Was for power to be released for strength and endurance for our mind.

4.     The nail piercings of His hands (John 20:27):

  • Was for power to be released to help us with service ministry and loving others relationally.

5.     The nail piercings of His feet (Luke 24:39):

  • Was for power to be released for our jobs and ministries.
  • Was for the power to carry the gospel.

6.     The piercing of His side (John 19:34):

  • Was for power to be released so that we may be His Bride.
  • Was for power to learn how to receive His superior love personally.

7.     The robe Jesus wore (Isaiah 61:10):

  • Was for the power to walk in our identity.
  • Was for power to walk and live in holiness.

Calvary is final! These analogies show us that Calvary is our total source of power and passion through Jesus Christ!

An EASTER S.O.S!

“Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to thy mercy” (Psalm 109:26).

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25).

S.O.S. is an internationally recognized distress signal in radio code, often used by ships at sea. S.O.S. is generally defined as “an urgent appeal for help.” In our case, we can use S.O.S. to metaphorically represent the “Salvation Of Souls.” We hear beckoning cries echoing from the multitudes who are drowning in the sea of life and need to be rescued by that ship of Zion, through Jesus Christ!

Easter (Resurrection Sunday) will be observed on April 20, 2025. Although the foundational beliefs, historical perspectives, and practical customs of this prominent event vary worldwide, most Christians celebrate this significant holiday in observance of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus died on Calvary for a lost world and shed His blood on the cross for all humanity. Remember, Jesus rose from the dead, and “He came to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10).

PRAY FOR:

  • Those attending services on Easter, including visitors, lukewarm saints, and prodigals. Pray they will yield to the Spirit of God. Pray they will commit fully to the Lord and receive salvation, restoration, renewal, and/or deliverance, accordingly.

  • All lost souls and prodigals everywhere! Pray for souls in your family and those in the streets of your city whom we pass by. Pray for God's mercy and grace to rest upon them according to His will, as He reaches them through us.

  • The saints to draw closer to God as everyone remembers and reflects upon the great sacrifice of our precious Lord and Saviour. Pray Spirit-led prayers and for the Spirit of God to minister to the needs of those in the Easter services. Pray for His will to be done.

  • God to powerfully anoint His messenger (minister) as the Word of God comes forth. Intercede that God would mend broken hearts and grant spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical healing to those present. Pray for God to perform miracles, signs, and wonders.

  • The salvation of souls as we reach out to those who are crying for help and sending out an S.O.S. Pray we each fully give our life as a living sacrifice unto God, holy and acceptable to Him!

  • Great Church growth among us! Pray for a great revival and harvest of souls in every church! Pray that lost souls will respond to God’s call. Intercede and believe God for an Easter Salvation Of Souls (S.O.S)!

“And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen” (Mark 16:6).

The World Network of Prayer Presents

24/7 WATCH: A Year-Round Initiative for 24/7 Prayer

As of January 1, 2025, WNOP has continued the 24/7 prayer and fasting chain worldwide. It has been such a great success in 2023 that it was requested again. Each week WNOP is posting a prayer focus as daily prayer for the entire week. Also, weekly a video is posted on the WNOP Facebook Page of a prayer leader and/or minister leading in periodic prayer.

Many people throughout the world have signed up by committing in their hearts unto God that they will consistently join together in united prayer and fasting. WNOP also has partnered with those in local churches who are already a part of a current 24-hour prayer chain. All of these hours of consecration are culminating to help provide a complete mass prayer covering over the entire Church body and to help bring greater success in all that we do in Christ! Together, let’s “watch and pray” and behold great and mighty things in the kingdom of God! Let’s prevail over the enemy with victory and declare, “Not on My Watch!”
