Spotlight Organization: NCSY
As part of our partnership with NCSY, we're featuring Southern NCSY's new Milstein Mentoring Fellowship.
Southern NCSY's Israel Political Advocacy group started a new program, the Southern NCSY Milstein Mentoring Fellowship. Alumni of our program, currently studying on college campuses across America, talk with current high school students in our program about their experiences on the college campus. This program empowers our alumni to become mentors and gives our participants another avenue of learning.
Elie Codron, a high school senior, talked to his mentor, Jonathan Allen, of the University of Maryland about the pro-Israel community and anti-Israel groups on his campus. He talked to Elie about a major incident last year with “Students for Justice in Palestine.” Sydney Freedman, a high school freshman talked to Emily Firestone, of the University of Boston, about the different pro-Israel groups that are resources on campus and the presence of anti-Israel groups on campus.
We are grateful to The Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation for their support.
