Dear Friends,
The month of March marks a time of renewal for us all. The snow melts, the animals emerge from their hibernation, our children emerge from their dorms to come home and visit us for spring break, and we all don masks and costumes for Purim and the reading of the Megillah!
We're very proud to be sending 360 college and high school students from our partner organizations to the 2017 AIPAC Policy Conference as Milstein Fellows next week. These organizations are doing a tremendous job choosing the best and brightest students - and they deserve to attend this conference! We have been sponsoring students for 10 years and we consistently see the long-term effect that students come back with - a renewed energy and focus in their Israel advocacy efforts. We have been able to see these students emerge into bright, young professionals becuase of this!
This month we are excited to share with you Adam's first
video podcast
featuring musical artist, Ninet Tayeb. Adam and Ninet talk about her incredible journey from Tel Aviv to Los Angeles, and her unique connection to the Israeli-American community.
Also, it's time to vote on your favorite video from the Inspired by Israel contest! See details below!
We thank you for all that you do to advance our shared mission – and look forward to partnering with you in the months ahead to strengthen the State of Israel and the Jewish people.
With best regards,
Gila and Adam Milstein

StandWithUs' third "Combating the Boycott Campaign Against Israel (BDS)" conference March 4-6 in Los Angeles brought 250 high school and college students and community members from the U.S., Canada, and Israel, together with professionals from dozens of organizations working on the front lines to stop the anti-Semitic BDS campaigns.
Thanks to the amazing support of the
Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation,
10 Hillel professionals from across North America joined us to share their experiences in combating BDS on their campuses.

The top international experts examined the movement's latest tactics including how its activists infiltrate and pressure various sectors of society and unveiled the money trail that contributes to organizations that work to undermine Israel in all possible ways.
These amazing experts, students, and community leaders came together to brainstorm ways to further combat this anti-Israel movement and plan to implement these ideas in the coming year.

Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) is the international Jewish fraternity. Its mission is to develop the future leaders of the global Jewish community, and one of AEPi’s core tenets is civic engagement. Each year, numerous AEPi brothers serve their campuses as student government senators and officers. Through a partnership with the Milstein Family Foundation, AEPi has significantly increased the number of Jewish and pro-Israel students who receive student government campaign training.
In the last 3 years, 821 pro-Israel students have been elected on 83 campuses as a result!
Attendees of AEPi’s Advocacy Academy workshops explore the intricate workings of student government elections and learn how to successfully navigate them. Presenters include current United States congressmen, community organizers, and academics. They also have the opportunity to meet fellow students from across North America and learn best practices with one another. Following these workshops, they are now prepared to run a successful student government election campaign on their campus.
We are grateful to The Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation for their inspiration, support, and impact.
