Thank you for supporting us! The best compliment we could receive is for you to refer us to your friends, family and co-workers.  We are never too busy for our clients and their affiliates and thank you in advance!

Summer is here and it just got real HOT, real fast! "The Heat Is On!"  However, we'd rather the heat than snow & ice storms, not to mention the frigid temps! Now, we can get into every restaurant without reservations and with the reciprocals, we can measure our country club against other neighboring clubs in Palm Beach County. So far, none of them compare to Addison Reserve. Don't get us wrong, we are prejudiced towards Addison, but the ambience, food and just plain friendliness of the membership doesn't compare to others, we are the best!

Thursday evening was, as always, lobster night at Addison. Over 100 members and friends enjoyed those delectable shelled lobsters, sweet & tasty. After dinner, many ventured into Styr to enjoy an after dinner cocktail or just needing to continue a very enjoyable evening. We dined at home but decided to meet friends at Styr for cappuccino and cookies. Whatever the reason, Styr is always busy and combined with the friendly atmosphere, it's always a great place to spend an evening.

The rains have subsided, hence, the tennis, golf and pickleball players went about playing their matches as usual. Due to the high temps, most quit a little earlier than they normally do. Nevertheless, our members are active and competitive no matter what the weather outside is like. Quite a few members decided to run home, shower and then spend the rest of the day playing cards in our cool, refreshing card room. Drinks and fruits were the choice of most of our thirsty men & women. There was plenty for everyone, as always.

As is the custom here in Addison, the first Friday of every month is our very popular "Happy Hour," where drinks are half price and there is no minimum in Styr for dining. The hors d'oeuvres are always a treat and with drinks being half price, everyone seemed a little happier than usual, we wonder why? There was also a 2 piece combo, and many there danced the evening away. Addison hosted several reciprocal guests as well. There was a group of guests from Seagate Country Club enjoying our Friday festivities and they asked us, "Is it always this great?" "Of course", we acknowledged in the affirmative. They were impressed.

Sunday was a busy day, especially considering that season is over and many members are up north enjoying their summer retreats. The last Nine & Dine of the season, delayed from 3 weeks ago because of inclement weather, took place with a 4:00 pm shotgun start. Due to the delay, the group of golfers was small, but the intensity of play was still there. Afterwards, all gathered upstairs in the main dining room to enjoy a delicious buffet feast. While the golfers were in the party rooms, our "Taste' the main dining room, was busy with over 130 members, family & guests enjoyed the buffet, consisting of clams Fra Diablo, spicy chicken made to perfection, steak, fish, pizza as well as all sorts of other goodies. Salads, pasta and assorted vegetables were also available. The meal, of course, was complete only after Dana's Delights, which featured a banana cream pie that was absolutely outstanding. The room was filled with many children enjoying a fun filled evening with their parents and grandparents. What a beautiful evening we had.

During his physical, the doctor asked the patient about his daily activity level.
He described a typical day this way:

Well, yesterday afternoon, I waded along the edge of a lake, drank eight beers, escaped from wild dogs in the heavy brush, jumped away from an aggressive rattlesnake, marched up and down several rocky hills, stood in a patch of poison ivy, crawled out of quicksand and took four leaks behind big trees.
Inspired by the story, the doctor said, You must be one hell of an outdoorsman!
NAH,he replied, I'm just a shitty golfer.

I was thinking about old age and decided that old age is when you still have something on the ball, but you are just too tired to bounce it.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

The older you get the tougher it is to lose weight because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends.

The sole purpose of a child's middle name is so he can tell when he's really in trouble.

Did you ever notice that when you put the 2 words "The" and "IRS" together it spells "Theirs?"
