Rising Star Student of the Month Program

The Oceanside Chamber's Rising Star Program aims to champion students that have overcome significant challenges in their life and have managed to keep on track with their education. The Chamber honors one high school senior each month from five of our area high schools.

Last year, due to the generosity of our scholarship sponsors, led by Genentech, the Oceanside Chamber foundation was able to provide 23 deserving Rising Star students a total of $37,000 in scholarships. Rising Star events are open to the public. Tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $40 for non-member. A continental breakfast will be provided to all guests.

CSUSM Semi-Annual Business Confidence Index Study Survey

The College of Business Administration (CoBA) at California State University San Marcos is conducting our semi-annual

Business Confidence Index (BCI) study and we are requesting your input. This survey gathers crucial insights from local

businesses regarding market trends, business growth, challenges in the current environment, and expectations for the future. The results help identify areas of opportunity, key points for policy discussion and provide valuable data to support the success of local businesses.

CoBA conducts this study twice a year to measure business confidence in our region of North County San Diego. Members of the business community are surveyed and asked about the local and national economy, sales, profits and hiring expectations. The results are used to construct a Business Confidence Index for our region. The survey is very short and takes most people about three to five minutes to complete. 

Economic Study Tour



Our Chamber, along with three others and the SDNEDC (www.sdnedc.org), are sponsoring a study trip to Austin Texas to learn about how their chambers and EDC support businesses. To join us March 19-21, 2025 sign up using the button below
