Oceanside Leadership Academy Fall 2023 Now Accepting Applications!


From September 9th to November 2nd 2023, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce will conduct weekly Leadership Academy sessions. In our opening session participants will hear from some of our top local leaders regarding their leadership styles and philosophies, how they have led through times of crisis, and what it takes to lead in their respective sectors.


Subsequent sessions will feature deeper dives into leadership from experts in various sectors including military, municipal government, tourism/hospitality, entrepreneurship, health care, non-profits and Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM).

North County Health and Wellness Fair Tomorrow!


On August 10, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Oceanside Chamber will hold its Annual North County Health & Wellness Fair. This event provides an opportunity for local health & wellness related businesses to promote their products and services and provide demonstrations for community members.


The North County Health Fair is FREE to the public and a great way to receive information, meet a new health specialist, or learn more about healthy living. Located at the beautiful Oceanside Civic Center Plaza, the North County Health Fair will run concurrently with the popular Downtown Farmer's Market. The Annual Heroes of Oceanside and Camp Pendleton Luncheon will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 12 PM - 2 PM at the Seabird Resort's Grand Ballroom. The event serves to recognize representatives from Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Oceanside Police Department, Oceanside Fire Department, Oceanside Lifeguards, Healthcare Workers and Teachers from the local school district(s) for their outstanding contributions to the well-being and advancement of our City. Additionally, this year's event will recognize a Green Oceanside Business and a Kindness Certified Business.

The Best of Oceanside Summer 2023 Edition is here! This edition celebrates Oceanside's beautiful coastal community and the residents and business owners who call it home. The edition also includes a special celebratory segment on the Mission San Luis Rey's 225th Anniversary. Best of Oceanside Local Nonprofits - Lived Experiences


Lived Experiences is a community-based nonprofit organization with a mission to uplift humanity by meeting both the physical and emotional needs of individuals. Their belief is that everyone deserves the necessary care and support to flourish in life. 


Starting in 2019 and through the Covid public health crisis, Lived Experiences has made a significant impact on the community of Oceanside and surrounding cities. They have provided over one million pounds of fresh produce to underserved communities, constructed a unique laundry trailer to provide clean clothes to those in need, mentored hundreds of youth in their personal journey, and shared valuable resources through various community events. Their efforts have reached over 5,000 families, and they are committed to continuing to make a positive change.

Boots to Business Reboot - Entrepreneurship Training Program for Veterans and Military Spouses

Boots to Business (B2B) is an entrepreneurial education and training program offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA. The course provides an overview of entrepreneurship and applicable business ownership fundamentals. Veterans of all eras, Active Duty Service members (including National Guard and Reserve), and spouses are eligible to participate. During Reboot, participants are introduced to the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to launch a business, including steps for developing business concepts, how to develop a business plan, and information on SBA resources available to help. This program is facilitated by subject matter experts from the SBA and their extensive network of skilled business advisors.
