Oceanside Harbor Dredge to Begin

The US Army Corps of Engineers dredges the mouth of the Oceanside Harbor annually for the safe navigation of vessels. The 2025 dredge is expected to start mobilizing on April 7 and the dredging will begin about April 15. The average amount of sand dredged and placed onto Oceanside beaches annually is typically between 200,000 and 300,000 cubic yards. You'll see heavy equipment during this operation, along with large pipe and bulldozers. Please use caution in and around the project. Harbor Lot #12 will be closed during this work for equipment.
