CHAMBER EVENTS & UPDATES

Cohort 7 of the Oceanside Leadership Academy Begins April 25

The Oceanside Leadership Academy (OLA) continues to grow as one of the Chamber’s most impactful workforce and community leadership programs. Since launching in 2023, more than 200 professionals from over 45 organizations have graduated from OLA, gaining a deeper understanding of Oceanside’s economic drivers, civic leadership, and community partnerships.

The 7th cohort begins April 25, with sessions that connect participants directly with local leaders, businesses, and institutions shaping Oceanside’s future. OLA is designed for emerging and established leaders who want to expand their network, strengthen their leadership skills, and play a more active role in our community.

COMMUNITY UPDATES

San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) recognizes that running a small business can be challenging, especially when unexpected financial hardships arise. In partnership with the San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Center (SBDC), SDG&E has launched the Small Business Relief Program to provide business advisory services and one-time bill assistance to eligible small business customers who need help managing past-due energy bills.

If you, or someone you know, can benefit from these services, please make an appointment here: SDG&E Small Business Relief (2026) - San Diego & Imperial SBDC.  An SBDC advisor will meet with you to review the challenges you are facing and determine eligibility for the Relief Program. There is no cost associated with this program.

The Small Business Relief Program is funded by SDG&E shareholder contributions and administered in partnership with the SBDC.

Program availability and eligibility requirements are subject to change. Assistance is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until such funds are no longer available.
