The Oceanside Chamber's Rising Star Program aims to champion students who have overcome significant challenges in their lives while staying committed to their education. Each month, the Chamber honors one senior from five area high schools. Thanks to the generosity of our scholarship sponsors, the Oceanside Chamber Foundation has awarded $200,000 in scholarships to 109 deserving Rising Star students in the first five years of the program.

California’s Paid Family Leave Grant (CPFLG) offers up to $2,000 per employee to help small businesses (1–100 employees) manage costs when team members take leave. Green Oceanside Update:

Oceanside residents can drop off their household hazardous waste twice a month by appointment only on Saturdays at Waste Management’s HHW Facility located at 2880 Industry Street by calling the Customer Service Line at (760) 439-2824. Seniors or disabled customers can make a reservation for free home collection of HHW.
