The Merit Shop in Action: Our Members Are Building the Workforce Solution From the State House to the classroom, ABC Carolinas continues to turn relationships into results, driven entirely by the leadership, vision, and generosity of our members. Because our members stepped up, we successfully connected Dorchester County schools with the ACE Mentor Program and Google to launch a landmark paid summer camp. This is member-driven workforce development in action, introducing high school students to high-paying, rewarding careers in construction. Associated Builders and Contractors and Meta have partnered to provide a unique opportunity for individuals interested in launching a career in the construction industry by obtaining a data center construction technician credential. This intensive training program is designed to equip participants with the foundational skills, industry-recognized credentials, and workplace readiness needed to pursue rewarding careers in construction. It is incredibly humbling to see what can happen when our industry unites for a shared purpose, and I am so excited to watch these initiatives grow.
