After the implementation of another shutdown last week, we have heard from many businesses about their frustration with the constantly changing operating rules for businesses and the fear of the long term effects that these devastating restrictions will have on their businesses. We know that the accelerated vaccine roll-out and prioritization of hot zones and essential workers is critical, we also know that this will take time.  We applaud the resilience of of our many businesses who have taken extraordinary measures to adjust and pivot for survival.

Throughout the pandemic your Chamber has continued to advocate on your behalf and pressure the government to level the playing field as it applies to big box stores and we pledge to continue to advocate on your behalf, with an emphasis now on the provision of additional financial supports to see you through this third wave of the pandemic.

We plan to provide increased training & development resources over the next months and remind you that the Explore Aurora website is a resource you can use to support your promotional efforts.

If you have any questions or issues you wish to bring to our attention or if there is anything we can do to support you as we navigate the next few weeks, please reach out to us at any time at [email protected] or at 416-848-9105.
