In The News

On February 8, 2021, the Ontario Government announced that the Provincial Stay-At-Home Order will expire Monday, February 22 for York Region. The framework has been modified to allow non-essential retailers to open at 25% capacity. The York Region framework colour zone will be announced closer to February 22nd.

To get ready for a tax filing season like no other, the Federal Government has introduced a number of measures to help taxpayers get the tax and benefit information they need. 

Applications are now open for the Ontario government's new two-year $115 million Skills Development Fund. The fund, which will support workers and apprentices, is specifically designed to address the challenges brought on by COVID-19 and help reduce obstacles to hiring, training and retaining while preparing workers for the province's economic recovery.

Ontario Small Business Support Grant
Applications Now Open

Starting at $10,000 for all eligible businesses, the grant will provide businesses with dollar for dollar funding to a maximum of $20,000 to help cover decreased revenue expected as a result of the Province-wide Shutdown.
Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS)
The Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy extension has also been approved and is now extended to June 2021.
Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS)
The Rent Subsidy Program application is available today from the Canadian Government. The Rent Subsidy will run from September 2020 to June 2021.
