As the year draws to a close, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the hard work and achievements that make the College of Engineering such a remarkable and inspiring place. It is truly an honor to lead this exceptional college and witness the dedication of our students, faculty, staff, and supporters every day.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Valerio Ferme as the new President of New Mexico State University. Under his leadership, we look forward to building on our momentum and further advancing the university's growth and success, elevating opportunities for our students, and enhancing our impact across our community, state, nation, and beyond.

To our students, as you prepare for finals, I wish you the very best of luck. Your commitment and perseverance are inspiring, and we are proud of everything you’ve accomplished. For those graduating this semester, congratulations! Your achievements bring immense pride to the College of Engineering, and we eagerly anticipate the positive difference you will make in your careers and society.

I also want to extend my sincere thanks to the members of the Dean’s Engineering Advisory Council for their insightful contributions and support during their visit last month at Homecoming. Your guidance continues to be instrumental in shaping the future of our programs and initiatives.
