Message from the Dean

As we move further into the semester, I would like to remind everyone that the ScholarDollar$ application platform for the 2026–27 academic year is now open. The platform allows students to apply for all College of Engineering scholarships through a single, streamlined process. Our scholarship coordinator, Olivia Dulany, will soon be sharing guidance and best practices for preparing a strong application via email and our social media channels. I encourage all students to follow the College’s official channels, linked at the bottom of this newsletter, and to stay attentive to communications from the Office of Academics.

To our alumni and friends, invitations have been distributed for our annual Scholarship Breakfast, scheduled for next month during Homecoming. This treasured event brings together our generous donors and the exceptional students who benefit from their support. I look forward to reconnecting with you and sharing the meaningful impact your generosity continues to have on our students and programs.

David Jáuregui, Ph.D.

Interim Dean

Finally, I would like to remind our students that a wide range of support services is available throughout the semester. Whether you seek academic advising, tutoring, or simply someone to talk to, NMSU offers numerous resources to help you succeed and remain connected. From the Eloy Torrez Family Learning Communities in Engineering to university-wide support programs, we are committed to your success. I encourage you to make the most of these opportunities and to stay engaged with the many resources and communities that make NMSU such a special place to learn and grow. Go Aggies!
