National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) highlights the importance of vaccination for people of all ages, including older adults. Vaccines are a vital part of healthy aging. They help older adults stay independent, avoid hospitalizations, and reduce the risk of long-term complications from illness.
This August, we can protect the health and well-being of everyone. For more information and resources, visit CDC’s NIAM webpage.
