Congratulations Allie Taylor,
2018 Thought Leader of the Year!
Allie's research is ground breaking in that it recognizes that a key component of any business sale is the psychology of the owner. Despite all the financial and operational analysis that gets done at the point of the deal, psychology is measured at best with intuition. Allie's research identifies scientific means of defining and measuring an owner's propensity to exit their business.

Lifetime Achievement Award:
Mike Adhikari
As a dealmaker, valuation expert, and developer of software for private company M&A solutions, Mike has been on the AM&AA Advisory Board for 15 years and board President for the last 10 years! He is a passionate advocate for many professional business associations, and the AM&AA has received much more than our fair share of Mike’s time, talent, and treasure. There is no AM&AA member more selfless and valued than Mike. He is beyond deserving of the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Jason has shared his experience, vision, leadership, inspiration and dedication to every effort and contribution to the membership and organization. Whether he is helping to create the strategy for the MidMarket Alliance or serving as an integral part of the conference content committee, Jason is always willing to help. The organization is stronger because of members like Jason who are so willing to give their time.
Chapter Leader of the Year:
Jon Underkofler
Due to Jon's leadership, the Rocky Mountain Chapter flourished in 2018. With new initiatives to increase engagement - such as revitalizing the chapter's social media presence, holding unique events that appeal to members and non-members alike, and expanding the RMC into Salt Lake City, thus reaching a brand new market for the AM&AA - it was an easy choice for the AM&AA to make. Jon is a model chapter leader and we congratulate his hard work.
Highest CM&AA Score:
Scott Bier
Scott attended the 61st CM&AA class which was held at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA last October. Of the 75 candidates who went through the program in 2018, Scott earned the highest score on the CM&AA exam.
2019 SBIA & AM&AA Deal Summit
Another Successful Winter Conference
This year, the Alliance of M&A Advisors and the Small Business Investor Alliance (SBIA) joined forces and combined SBIA’s Southern Private Equity Conference and our Winter Conference to create the SBIA & AM&AA Deal Summit. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Miami. We hope to see you again in Chicago this July!
